Don and family hail from the Bay area of California.
They have a nice 1959 Skagit 17 Express cruiser powered by a classic American four cycle engine, the Homelite 55.
With 55hp, Don reports 26mph wide open, and an easy cruise of 23mph at reduced rpm. Says he uses about half the fuel required by his former 60hp two cycle engine.
In December of 2008 he found another classic trailer for her.
