FOR SALE**1958 20' SKAGIT EXPRESS CRUISER**FOR SALE
This fiberglass boat is turn key, intended to be a keeper, but I have two other boats and it is not worth keeping for use a few times a year.
Price is $5999, call direct if serious please, 707 799-1927
Thank you,
Stuart.
No need to do the interior cushions, trailer, tires, cockpit upholstery, interior unholstery, headliner, wiring, get a new windshield, install a bimini, captains chairs, porta potti, sink, engine, controls etc, etc, etc.
It has all been done, save yourself the time and money and just get on the water.
150 HP Mercury, runs well, no issues, tilt and trim, can go about 38 mph, maybe more, but have not pushed it. This is a two stroke engine.
-cabin sleeps two
-stainless sink, hand pump
-custom counter top
-porta potti and built in compartment. Head is new and never used.
-rear bench seat
-cockpit upholstered side panels with piping
-captain's chairs
-fuse panel
-Perko switch
-navigation lights
-cabin lights
-bow pulpit
-anchor
-fire extinguisher
-bimini top
-brand new custom windshield
-two new custom 24 gallon metal saddle fuel tanks, made for this boat. 48 gallons total, no need for loose tanks on the floor. One tank full now, the other more than half full.
(Cost of tanks was $850)
-life jackets
This boat is ready to go now. Can be used for pleasure, fishing or just being on the water. The construction is rugged, built in Washington for the areas up there, Puget Sound, etc, and is similar to a Dorsett, Glasspar and
other classic fiberglass boats.
The boat weighs 988 lbs, so add the single axle trailer, engine, fuel and other odds and ends and it can be towed without having a monster truck. It has a 2" hitch.
Last thought, there are not many boats of this type in this shape left, and there is a local CA group which gets together for meets, discussions, help, etc and I have met many new friends through this association with others
who also have classic boats.
(Ed. note: There is also a Huge Group in WA state with members in OR also)
This one is a head turner, and ALWAYS, gets compliments. I hate to give it up, but better passing it on than just use it twice a year.
More photos available.
Thanks,
Stuart 707 799-1927

Stuart's other boats, which is the ONLY reason the beloved Skagit is available to a lucky new caretaker.......
